Become the trusted expert in your field

Who is it for?

Do you have something to say but aren't sure how to say it? Social media isn't your thing? You don't want to be seen as bragging or selling — but you see others successfully promoting their ideas and you want to learn their techniques.

What is personal branding?

Personal branding is the widely recognised perception of an individual based on their expertise, experience, competencies, accomplishments, and actions. While reputation is about credibility, personal brand encapsulates visibility, values, and influence, also known as 'Thought Leadership'.

Why does it matter?

It is essential that leaders have an online presence in a digital world. The first thing that potential clients, collaborators, and employees will do is check you out. Gaining control of your personal brand is an opportunity to build relationships — because people trust experts and personal stories more than corporate logos and advertising.

What's stopping you?

You've probably already come up with a million excuses. You don't want to be seen as selling. You don't have time. You're worried about what people will think. English is not your first language. Every day that goes by with inaction means you are missing out on new relationships and opportunities.

What I help with

I can help you to overcome you fears and find your voice. My clients describe how something that was once scary has become routine, and they feel a lot better for it.

How do we work together?

Reflection

Together, we explore what you want to be known for. Where does your expertise lie? What are your interests and values? How do you help others, and who do you want to attract? Sometimes you’re navigating dual roles or a period of transition. I’ll help you work out how best to present yourself with clarity and confidence.

Together, we’ll surface any limiting beliefs that may be getting in your way and explore what needs to shift.
Our work is highly confidential.

Content strategy

I can help you create a content strategy for social media that contains themes and points of view. It may define you as the go-to person in your field, or maybe just a friendly face in your sector, someone who people want to engage with. I come up with ideas for posts that fit with your beliefs and aims. I can help to write them, or review your ideas.

Visibility and technique

We’ll work together on how to communicate effectively online, from growing a following and using imagery, to knowing when and how to share personal stories. I’ll help you develop your voice, build confidence and handle trolls or naysayers without being knocked off course. My support goes beyond your online presence. I can help you prepare for conference talks, podcasts and interviews, and write articles for the trade press.

The aim is not simply to build your profile, but to help you become a confident, credible voice in your field, wherever your audience finds you.

My offer in practice

My offer consistes of three in-person sessions spread over three months with tailored support in between. This is the most popular format.

If you want more support I can work with you on a retainer basis, regularly writing or reviewing content for your posts and supporting with personal communication.

I can help you show case your projects, achievements and opinions by ghost writing and placing articles in the trade press in your name.
